This quilted set is so cute and comfortable, it’s a skort so it’s fancy at the front and casual at the back. I found it on Amazon and got the same set in black and white. The only thing that would make it even more perfect is pockets.” “I love heels as I’m only 5-foot-1. These are Freebird brand in beige. I wear a lot of neutrals with a pop of color.” “I’ve had this Tory Burch bag for about seven years. The strap is adjustable so you can wear it on the shoulder or cross body.” “My hat is from the Graceful Leopard, which is a fun local boutique where I get a lot of my clothes.” “I’m really into sets at the moment. My son plays golf, so I got this set to wear when I watch him play. Originally it was $250, but I found it on eBay for $50. Sets are so versatile because you can wear them together or separately.” “My husband is an amazing jewelry giver and it is so special to me to have pieces I can one day pass on to my daughter. These are all from Lewis Jewelers, the bracelets are David Yurman, and the watch is Deco Madison.” “I love these Golden Goose tennis shoes because they are blinged out with pearls and silver accents. You can dress them up or down.” COASTMONTHLY.COM | MAY 2025 81 Compassionate Guidance in Your Time of Need. E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary PRETTY IN PINK When she isn’t wearing scrubs, League City resident plays up her fashionable femininity story by SHANNON CALDWELL photos by JENNIFER REYNOLDS F un, flirty and fashionable, Erica Baudier’s personal style is a cele- bration of her femininity. As practice manager for a der- matologist, medical scrubs are a daily uniform for the League City resident, so outside the clinic Baudier relish- es the opportunity to dress up. “Pink is my favorite color and I love any- thing with frills, sparkle and ruffles,” she said. “I love playful and girly clothes and if I have the opportunity to dress up, I will bring it.” Baudier likes keeping up with fashion trends and finds favorite pieces in surprising places, she said. From local boutiques to big-box stores and online traders, she buys bargains then dresses them up with carefully selected accessories. “I like cost-effective fashion, but I do spend more on certain pieces like jeans, and I invest in accessories because you can really dress up an outfit,” she said. Baudier grew up in New Orleans where her mother worked in a French Quarter boutique. She has fond memories of helping in the store and seeing first-hand how her mother’s fashion sense helped women to feel good about themselves. “We didn’t have much growing up, but my mother always looked like a million dollars,” she said. “She’s definitely a style influence for me.” Investing in luxury brand accessories means Baudier has items that last years and by “retiring accessories and then bringing them back” she gives the impression of hav- ing a much larger wardrobe.
